Q1.      What is age limit for Civilian candidates in the PAF?

Ans:    Age limit for Civilian cadre varies from category to category.

 

Q2.      Any waiver in height & weight for Induction as civilian in PAF?

Ans:    There is no restriction in height & weight for Induction as civilian in PAF except Civilian Driver.

 

Q3.      Can a foreign national living abroad apply?

Ans:    Yes, he can apply through Embassy of Pakistan.

 

Q4.      When to apply for registration as a civilian?

Ans:    Inductions are offered, as and when required, in all the leading newspapers.

 

Q5.      Up to what scales Dte of HRI offers job for civilians?

Ans:    Dte of HRI offers jobs from BPS-03 to 15 in different categories and BPS-I &II are inducted by DCP.

 

Q6.      What is the criterion for induction as civilian Driver?

Ans:   The criterion for Induction as Civilian Driver is middle Pass and possessing HTV License with two years experience.

 

Q7.      What are Preliminary Tests for Induction as civilian in PAF?

Ans:   

For Matric & above qualification’s categories

(a)      Intelligence Test.

(b)     Typing Test for Assistant, Steno Typist, UDC, GSO-I, GSO-II & LDC.

(c)    Final Interview.

 

For Non-Matric categories

(a)      Written Test, Practical and Interview for Drivers only.

(b)     Only Interview by AHQ Selection Board for other categories (Cook & Fire Fighter).

 

Q8.      Under what Act civilian induction is carried out?

Ans:    Civilian Induction is carried out under the Federal Govt recruitment rules 1979.

 

Q9.      What is Medical procedure for civilians?

Ans:    Medical is conducted at the reporting Base / Unit.

 

Q10.    Is waiver in upper age limit granted?

Ans:    No, waiver is permissible in upper / lower age limit except Ex-serviceman, Disabled, Death during service cases & in other categories as permissible by Govt of Pakistan.
